My kids love baseball

Since the time Vied was 4 months old she has been sitting with her Dad watching baseball.  Other sports never really caught her eye, but baseball sure did.  We recently signed her up to play in a small local sports league.  Nothing crazy, just a kind of make sure you like it and we will see from here thing.  Before she started we got to go to a minor league baseball game.  While there we had front row seats and Vied of course brought her glove.  The players took a liking to the little girl with the pink glove and she came home with three balls that night one of which was signed.  This fulled her love of the game even more.

So while her season is almost over we are not looking into the girls fast pitch for her. All the while her brother has been watching from the side lines.  Now it’s time to sign him up for something and he of course has chosen baseball.  So 2016 will be a very busy baseball filled year.

128 pictures

I picked up the camera the other day to take a picture of the kids doing something.  I don’t remember what it was because I became instantly distracted by the amount of pictures I found on the camera card.  You see I had just cleaned it out and There were only 56 pictures left on the card that I hadn’t done anything with as of yet.  So image my surprise and I saw there was now 184 pictures. As I scrolled threw I couldn’t help but laugh, then wonder where Daddy was as these pictures were being taken. They started in my JDangerous’s room then moved on to Vied’s room ultimately ending up in our kitchen. Some are actually pretty good and the others I wonder what is that.

Coralling the Cat

It’s when they are quiet that I start to worry…

Then you hear the whispered conversation.  What do they want?  They want the cat. The cat who evades then.  She sits there on the chair in the kitchen under the table completely unaware of the plan that is being hatched.

Vied: “you go this way and don’t let her get away, I will go that way and we can corner her.”

JDangerous:  “Okay, but shhh Mommy is watching us.”

Obviously they think I can’t hear the loud whisper of a conversation. I watch as they slowly start to creep towards the kitchen.  As they get closer the cat’s ears perk up.  She is starting to realize what is coming and she won’t like it.

Mommy: “You need to leave her alone.  You know she doesn’t like when you get her and hold her down.”

JDangerous: “Run”

Vied:  “She caught us again!”

For now the cat is safe, but they will strike again.
